Remember that Ferraris will drop in value if the carpets are vacuumed by the wrong vendor. Don't even ask about tires and oil changes by mere mechanics. Some states have a formula for what is called 'diminished value' or how many dollars less an owner would get if they were to sell a car that every one knows is damaged.
Also, the insurance company ADDS the value of the salvage wreck to the value of the repair because selling the wreck offsets their out of pocket costs.
102,660 repair + 150,000 salvage sale + 50,000 diminished value = $302660 may as well be a total to avoid the fight.

WTH? Throw on a couple of turbos UGR style and get some taillights. Done. Best deal ever.
